Meet Melinda Gunther

About Melinda Gunther

Melinda Gunther is a top Naples luxury real estate advisor specializing in Pelican Bay, Old Naples, and custom golf course residences, with 14 years of experience and more than $325 million in career sales. Consistently ranked among Naples' elite agents, she brings an uncommon combination of custom homebuilding expertise, sophisticated marketing, and increasingly, a second generation of the business standing right beside her.

A Family Legacy in Naples Real Estate

When Melinda's son, Jake Gunther, joined Premier Sotheby's International Realty, it wasn't a career change, it was a continuation. Jake grew up immersed in the business Melinda built, from job sites to closing tables, and today he's carving out his own expertise in Old Naples and luxury golf communities under the family name. For clients, that means a real estate practice built to outlast any single transaction: the same values, the same standards, and now two generations paying attention to your property and your goals. Whether you work with Melinda in Pelican Bay or Jake in Old Naples, you're working with the same family commitment to doing this right.

Deep Expertise in Naples Luxury Real Estate

Since 2012, Melinda has built her practice around three core specializations: the resort lifestyle of Pelican Bay, the historic charm and walkability of Old Naples, and custom new construction in prestigious golf course communities throughout Naples and Collier County. This focus allows her to provide clients with genuine market intelligence rather than surface-level knowledge.

Her expertise in new construction sets her apart in significant ways. When Melinda and her family moved to Naples in 2000, they purchased a custom home building company, giving her an insider's perspective on construction quality, builder reputation, timelines, and the intricacies of creating a luxury custom home. Whether you're considering a tear-down and rebuild, evaluating a spec home under construction, or assessing the quality of an existing custom residence, Melinda understands what you're looking at in ways most real estate professionals simply cannot. Jake grew up immersed in new construction, walking job sites, working summers and learning from both of his parents.

A Proven Track Record

Numbers tell part of the story. With over $325 million in career sales, Melinda has guided clients through more than 200 transactions ranging from Pelican Bay high-rise residences to multi-million dollar Old Naples estates to newly constructed golf course homes. Her consistent performance has earned recognition at the highest levels: membership in Premier Sotheby's International Realty's exclusive Club 1744, recognition as one of the company's "Best of the Best," and a standing spot among the top producers in her office.

But the more important story is how those results were achieved. Melinda's clients appreciate her calm, knowledgeable approach to what can otherwise be a stressful process. She believes real estate should be enjoyable, not anxiety-inducing, and while she can't control every variable that arises in a transaction, she works diligently to anticipate challenges and find solutions before they become problems.

The Sotheby's International Realty Advantage

Melinda's affiliation with Premier Sotheby's International Realty provides her clients with unmatched global marketing reach and a network of qualified luxury buyers worldwide. She takes this advantage seriously, investing considerable time and resources each year traveling to meet personally with Sotheby's International Realty advisors in key markets. These relationships translate directly into qualified referrals for her Naples sellers and exclusive opportunities for her buyers.

When you list a luxury property with Melinda, it receives exposure through Sotheby's global network of affluent buyers, targeted digital marketing, professional photography and videography, and her extensive personal network of agents and potential buyers throughout Florida and beyond.

Life in Naples and Beyond

When she's not working with clients, Melinda pursues her passions for adventure travel, wellness, and longevity. She believes that maintaining curiosity, seeking new experiences, and investing in health and relationships makes her not only happier but also a better advisor to her clients.

Melinda's goal is simple: to bring joy to the buying and selling process. If you're considering selling your Pelican Bay residence, searching for the perfect Old Naples home, or exploring custom new construction options in Naples' finest golf communities, Melinda  and increasingly, the Gunther family, would welcome the opportunity to put decades of combined experience to work for you.
